Brian was born in Los Angeles. His Parents are Chris Jackson and Fred Gray. His favorite athlete is Michael Jordan. He was recruited by San Diego State, Iowa State, Pittsburgh, TCU, UNLV, and Oregon State. He majored in sociology.

Started in 13 of the Cougars' 14 games at left corner ... Named All-WAC first team ... Recorded 33 tackles as a junior, including 26 unassisted and seven assisted takedowns ... Produced two tackles for a loss, netting five yards ... Helped guide the BYU defense to a top ranking in the WAC in both rushing and total defense ... Registered 12 deflections and two interceptions for 57 yards, including a 39-yard interception return for a touchdown against San Diego State, the Cougars' only touchdown of the game ... Blocked one kick ... Produced one sack for a loss of one yard. Spring 1999: Played both cornerback and wide receiver in Blue/White game.

1999 Senior YearEdit

Named a semifinalist for the Jim Thorpe Award...started all 12 games for the Cougars at left corner...second straight All-Conference team following the season, picking up All-Mountain West Conference first team honors..shook off a groin injury to start against Virginia, picking off a Dan Ellis pass in the second quarter to score on a 28-yard return...recorded his second interception of the season against Utah State, returning the pick 18 yards to set up a 19-yard field goal...finished the season with three interceptions and 36 tackles, including 23 unassisted takedowns.

NFLEdit

2000- Played in the Hula Bowl All-Star Classic...signed with the Cincinnati Bengals as a free agent.
